Frequently Asked Questions

Curious but unsure? Here are answers to some common questions about Healing Hypnosis and BQH [Beyond Quantum Healing]

❖ Can everyone be hypnotized?

Yes — in fact, you already are, every day. We all move through natural states of hypnosis: when you’re just waking up or drifting off to sleep, deeply absorbed in a book or film, or driving on autopilot and suddenly realize you’ve missed a turn. These are all light trance states — and they show just how natural and accessible hypnosis truly is.

In a session, you’re not asleep or unconscious. You’re simply inwardly focused, with an expanded sense of awareness. You’ll still be aware of your surroundings and remain fully in control — able to speak, move, or adjust the experience at any time.

Forget the movie myths — you won’t feel “under” or drugged. Hypnosis is a subtle, spacious state where many people experience heightened clarity, deeper insight, and access to content beyond everyday awareness.

The depth you reach will depend on your system — and that’s exactly as it should be. I work in partnership with your inner intelligence, following its natural cues. Rather than pushing for a certain outcome, we allow your subconscious to guide us to the level of depth that feels safe, ready, and right for you.

❖ What’s the difference between Healing Hypnosis and BQH?

Both Healing Hypnosis and BQH)offer transformational journeys, but they’re distinct:

  • Healing Hypnosis is fluid, collaborative, and shaped by your needs. It can include conscious dialogue, resource-building, regression, light trance, inner parts work, or focused exploration of specific blocks [like creative resistance or emotional patterns]. It meets you exactly where you are.
  • BQH is ceremonial and soul-guided. It has two parts: first, a deep conversation to uncover themes and set an intention; then, a guided journey into the quantum field, where your higher self leads. It often includes past life recall, soul guidance, or multidimensional insight.

Some people are drawn to one. Others explore both over time.

❖ Will one session be enough?

Sometimes, yes. A single session can bring powerful clarity, resolution, or deep insight — especially in BQH, which is designed as a stand-alone experience. Many clients report profound shifts from just one journey, depending on the focus and nature of what’s brought to the session.

That said, lasting transformation often unfolds over time. Think of it like tending a garden: each session offers nourishment, alignment, and integration — allowing your inner world to settle, heal, and grow. Some issues resolve quickly, while others benefit from deeper exploration.

You’ll never be pressured into more than feels right for you. The pace, depth, and frequency of sessions are always in your hands.

❖ What if I don’t know what’s wrong or what I want to work on?

You don’t need to have it all figured out. Many people come with a sense of being stuck, disconnected, or unsure — and that’s the perfect place to begin. Our initial chat and session help uncover the deeper layers of what’s seeking healing or expression.

❖ What if I get emotional?

That’s welcome here. Emotions are often part of the healing process — not something to fix or hide. You’ll be held in a compassionate, grounded space, and nothing will be pushed. We’ll move at a pace that honours your nervous system, your story, and your sovereignty.

What if I encounter something that feels scary or overwhelming during a session?

The best healing happens when you feel safe. Safety allows for expansion — a spaciousness where energy can move, shift, and release. Fear, on the other hand, creates contraction and tension, often locking energy in place.

Please know: you are always in control. I never encourage you to push through or endure something that doesn’t feel right. If anything ever feels too intense, we can immediately pause, soften, or shift the experience into something you are truly ready to meet. Your inner wisdom always leads the way, and I’m here to support you gently every step of the journey.

Will I need to retell my trauma?

No — you do not need to go into detailed retellings of past trauma for healing to happen. In fact, revisiting traumatic memories in detail can often be retraumatizing, which is something we intentionally avoid.

My approach honours your nervous system and inner wisdom. We work with what is present in the moment — gently, respectfully, and without forcing anything to be relived or explained. Often, the subconscious or higher self will show us symbolic, energetic, or emotionally resonant layers that support healing without needing to rehash the story.

You are always in control, and your comfort and safety are the foundation of our work together. Healing can be profound — without pain being reactivated.

❖ Will I say or reveal things I don’t want to?

Never. You’re always aware, in control, and can stop or redirect the session at any time. This is not about bypassing your boundaries — it’s about working with your inner wisdom and honoring your agency.

❖ What if I’m just imagining it all?

Imagination is the language of the subconscious — and deep imagining is a sacred tool for transformation. The subconscious and body don’t distinguish between what’s real and what’s vividly imagined. That’s what makes this kind of inner work so powerful.

Insights often arrive as symbolic or intuitive imagery. Even if it feels like you’re “just making it up,” what surfaces can hold profound emotional truth and healing potential. In fact, many clients find that what begins as imagination soon deepens into something more — with unexpected clarity, emotion, or inner knowing emerging along the way.

Some people drop straight into a flow that unfolds before their eyes, seemingly independent of conscious effort. Others may begin by actively participating — gently imagining scenes or responses — until the flow naturally takes over.

In this work, imagination is not something to overcome — it’s something to trust, follow, and befriend. It’s the gateway to the deeper wisdom within you.

❖ Is this available online or in person?

Both.

Online hypnotherapy sessions are just as powerful — and can be even more comfortable for some. Being in your own familiar space often helps people relax more deeply.

If you’re local to Coffs Harbour, in-person sessions are available in a beautiful, peaceful space in Upper Orara.

Safety and comfort are always a top priority, whether online or face-to-face.
